A credit to your account(s) will usually be made within 24 hours after your online payment has cleared your financial institution or the credit card issuer. To the extent there are delays or difficulties with the electronic transmission or in processing your online payment, the credit to your account(s) may be delayed. Mediacom is not responsible for delays in the transmission or processing of payment or other information or for any computer virus or related online problems.
You are responsible for timely payment of all amounts due as indicated in your Mediacom® billing statement. For one-time electronic payments, you should submit your payment with sufficient time prior to your account due date in case delays in transmission or processing are encountered. If an electronic payment is not processed or completed by the date identified on your Mediacom billing statement, your amount due will be treated in accordance with Mediacom's late payment policies.
If we are unable to complete your requested payment transaction for any reason (for example, there are insufficient funds in your account to cover the payment), no payment will post to your Mediacom® account(s). Mediacom, or its Authorized Payment Processors, may contact you if your payment attempt was unsuccessful or if we were unable to process the payment. In some instances, you may receive an electronic return notice. Any issues related to either your credit card company's or banking institution's failure to process an online payment submitted through Electronic BillPay must be resolved by you with your credit card company or banking institution.
